Eighth Annual Train the Trainer - September 22, 2012
TRAIN THE TRAINER
Build Youth Confidence and Motivation
Training Objective:
In this strategies-based training participants learn the most current and successful ways to engage youth in self-actualization that leads to positive behavioural choices and changes.
Learn to become skilful motivators with the latest techniques in training that also cover five self-esteem principles as they apply to youth today.
Training Outline:
- Learn why anyone with low self-esteem usually cannot act beyond who they think they are. Participants will not only learn new strategies to inspire and motivate youth but also fully participate in each.
- Participants will gain the tools needed to engage troubled, disconnected youth in comfortable conversation.
- Participants are taught new strategies that provide hands on learning for youth who learn better by doing than listening. At least 50% of this training is interactive.
- Many delegates report using their new skills in their personal lives as well.
- Participants will be treated to a unique training experience!
Length:
Full day. If you are unable to attend the annual training
consider in-house training. Invite local organizations (up to 100 trainees) to participate because the price remains the same! Training certificate and comprehensive resource manual are extra.

"Wonderful experience! Great enthusiasm, well laid out and delivered. Most enjoyable training in years!"
Ryan Watson - St. Leonard's Community Services Youth Justice Ontario Conference
"This workshop provided great strategies for our school liaison officers to get started in helping teens open up. The ice breakers were "golden" opportunities to open the door to communication and assist in the development of self esteem and confidence. As the father, the strategies and exercises covered in the workshop are as applicable at home as on the job."
Staff Sergeant Robin Tiplady
"I appreciate the way you developed strategies to correspond with our industries Attitudinal Indicators because they were very helpful. Well done! You really hit the mark offering information that is very specific and geared to this population. Thank you!"
Joan Wong - Speech Therapist
"This will help us even in 10 years from now. I really enjoyed the interactive parts of the presentation...I would have preferred two days!"
Debra Deconti - Algonquin First Nations, Maniwaki Quebec
"Informative, interactive practical and useful. Everyone in this field should attend this training. You re-sparked a passion in me."
Shannon Dartch - Anago Non Residential Resources. Youth Justice Ontario Conference 2010
